Learn how to map in OpenStreetMap to support humanitarian work around the world.
OpenStreetMap is the number one source of free, open geospatial data, used by companies, community groups and humanitarian organizations around the world.
The Missing Maps project is a partnership between leading humanitarian organizations and the Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team to identify vulnerable places with little or no available geospatial data and generate that missing data by tracing satellite imagery.
Everyone is welcome, this event is not focused on technology, but on learning how to map in OpenStreetMap. Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team and the larger OpenStreetMap community exist due to the volunteer work of humanitarian technologists and the opportunities to apply technical skills to a leading #opendata project are many.

Bring a laptop and a mouse helps a lot!
The event is in English, but most folks are Swiss German speakers so questions and answers are often in Swiss German as well.
