Private cloud provisioning: IBM Service Delivery Manager

Private clouds are expected to become widely deployed in the coming years as businesses and service providers seek to leverage the efficiencies of cloud computing. A key challenge when setting up private clouds is to automate the provisioning of cloud resources. IBM Service Delivery Manager provides a provisioning automation engine with asset and configuration management functionality.

This workshop gives a technical overview of private cloud technologies, provisioning, scenarios, applications and architecture of IBM Service Delivery Manager. You will see live demonstrations that cover installing and customizing IBM Service Delivery Manager, using VMware to deploy an operating system image, and modifying the self-service provisioning GUI.
