DB2 10 for LUW Performance Tuning and Monitoring Bootcamp

The DB2 10 Performance Tuning and Monitoring Bootcamp is a series of distinctly focused presentations and labs offering "How to's" and "Best Practices" intended to help the attendee master the intricacies of maintaining a healthy and robust DB2 database server.

Attendees will learn how to leverage new performance enhancements in DB2 10 such as star schema optimization, improved multi-core parallelism, smart data and index prefetching and several others. Additionally, labs and presentations explore how to use Optim Performance Manager, Optim Query Tuner and other tools to easily tune and monitor your DB2 database servers.

This bootcamp is suitable for partners and selected clients who want to learn how to monitor and configure DB2 databases to achieve optimal performance, as well as how to diagnose DB2 activities and identify system performance bottlenecks.

At the end of the bootcamp, attendees may take the N18 IBM Information Management DB2 Technical Mastery Test at no-charge. Those who have successfully passed the N18 test are encouraged to take the 610 DB2 10 Family Fundamentals Certification Exam during the bootcamp at no-charge.
